Click the Subtitle Settings. Change the font size and color if you’d like. To disable the subtitles, simply follow the same steps but click the ‘Off’ option instead of choosing a language. To turn the subtitles on from a Firestick: Start streaming a TV show or movie. Press the three horizontal lines on the Firestick controller.
To get rid of the subtitles in Netflix's Windows app, first, launch the app and play your show or movie. Then, in the app's top-right corner, click "Audio & Subtitles" (a conversation icon). In the open menu, from the "Subtitles" section, choose the "Off" radio button. If you decide you want subtitles enabled again, select the radio button for Turning Off Subtitles on iOS and Android Devices. Go to install the HBO Max app. Choose a TV series or movie you wish to watch. Tap on the subtitles and audio button in the upper right corner. Tap the CC button and turn off the caption. Tap the X button to save. To turn on the caption on an LG Smart TV, Launch the information banner by pressing the Enter button. As you launch this banner, two tiny icons will appear on the upper end of your screen. Choose the tiny icon that is marked “CC”. After selecting this icon, the TV displays a message that shows that the closed caption/subtitles are active. Physically move the subtitle.srt file away from the NAS, to your PC’s desktop or any other storage. Correctly rename it there to: my.movie.2021.1080p.srt. Now move it back to your movie’s directory on your NAS. The NAS indexing service and the ‘Photos and Video’ app on your LG TV will pick up the new file almost instantaneously.
ITV currently provides subtitles for around 90%-95% of the programmes on the ITV Hub on platforms that are under our direct control and we continue to work to get that up to 100%. Freeview Play on newer smart TVs (most 2017 devices and above) We aim to offer subtitles as soon as a programme is available on ITV Hub.
Subtitles (external srt files) are not shown correctly over dlna on 2 LG TVs (netcast, not webos). The subtitles are in Romanian - latin 2 (ISO 8859-2) encoding. On the web player or chromecast everything works just fine. What i already tried: - save the srt file with UTF-8 encoding. - subtitle file name set as movie.ro.srt / movie.default.ro.srt.
If that doesn't work or you are running an older LG OS smart system then perhaps post the full model number of your LG TV where somebody on the forum may have information on what to do. Should you be using the NowTV box rather than a LG Smart TV, then the subtitles size can be changed under the box settings > Captions > Text Size etc. Reply. 0
